I had a meeting today with Helen Robinson to understand more fully the VLE at college. Rather than clarifying how I could best utilize this tool, it raised lots of questions for me instead... It appears that to use this tool it requires a co-ordinated approach by a number of different departments to make this work for the learner.
I have discussed this with my IV and the administrators that enable learners to gain their passwords to find out the reality of a learner on a 4 day program being able to access this fantastic resource. Once I have found this out I then have to approach my department head to buy some headphones. No point having a greatly sources VLE if no learner is able to listen into the video or podcasts that are uploaded!
